Adaptable Abodes, LLC
Accessibility Design
Adaptable Abodes provides home accessibility consulting for people who want their homes to support health, longevity, and changing needs over time. Every recommendation is informed by nearly three decades of Occupational Therapy experience.
We help people make confident decisions about how their homes can work for them, now and in the future. Whether planning proactively, returning home after hospitalization, adapting to a diagnosis or changing abilities, or deciding whether to Stay, Modify, or Move, we create a clear, practical path forward.
Our personalized roadmaps integrate daily function, accessibility, healthy home design, equipment and caregiver needs, cost planning, and remodeling strategy. Phased recommendations clarify what to address now, what to prepare for next, and what may be needed later.
We are a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and Occupational Therapist with the Executive Certificate in Home Modifications from the USC school of gerontology.
We also collaborate with attorneys, fiduciaries, care managers, healthcare professionals, architects, designers, and contractors who need OT-informed accessibility guidance, realistic cost projections, and clear, documentation-ready reports.
Services are preventative, non-medical, and private pay.
